Denize kıyısı yoktur. Komşuları Dorset, Somerset, Hampshire, Gloucestershire, Oxfordshire ve Berkshire'dır. 3.485 km²'lik yüz ölçümüne sahip olup yüzölçümü bakımından İngiltere kontlukları arasında 14'uncu sıradadır.[1]
