Birthdays usually make people euphoric as they look forward to spending the day with friends and family but, veteran actress Reema Lagoo, prefers it otherwise.
Lagoo, who will turn 57 on June 21, speaking about her birthday plans, said, “Somehow, this whole concept of birthday celebration makes me awkward. Every time, my daughter Mrunmayee plans a party for my birthday, I forbid her from going ahead.
The only time I threw a party for my birthday was, when I turned 50 and invited all my friends to celebrate that special landmark of my life. Other than that, I have hardly ever celebrated the day and this time too is not going to be any different.”

The actress is really excited about her upcoming film 'Jaudya Na Balasaheb', the directorial debut of National Award winning actor-writer Girish Kulkarni. The film also marks the foray of the musician duo Ajay-Atul into film production. “Currently the film’s post-production work is going on. This is one film that I’m really looking forward to,” said Lagoo.
